PBDA submitted 35,000 availability challenges
FCC has said they will process all challenges submitted by the deadline in time for the NTIA funding allocation, but they will continue to process challenges submitted after that deadline and it’s possible some may still be completed in time to impact the allocation
Next Steps
PA-specific challenge process should be set up for when funds are being granted/projects are being implemented at the state level
Look for more participatory outreach process within the state for BEAD implementation
